Directions

| If you are coming from the north via Paris you need to take the A10 motorway, sign-posted Bordeaux, and leave at the Amboise exit.Drive down into the Loire valley and on reaching the river Loire, without crossing it, follow the signs for Blois along the N152. Drive past Blois and continue 25 km to the village of Veuves.Turn right into Veuves from the 152. Proceed through the village of Veuve following the signs that read "Monteaux" and "Mesland." Leaving Veuves you proceed along the road that crosses farms and arrive in the village of Monteaux.Upon entering the Monteaux, you must now follow the signs that read "Mesland" and "Chateau du Portail - Bed and Breakfast". The signs will direct you through the village. After leaving Monteaux you drive past homes and fields for 1 km and on your right, just beside the hedge, you arrive at the Chateau du Portail. |
