| Majestically poised high atop a hill in the beautiful Mary Valley, Amamoor Homestead B&B and Country Cottages offer the ultimate in rural relaxation and rustic charm.
Our B&B rooms feature queen size beds, ensuite and private verandah area. Each has r/c aircon, television and fridge and its own private entrance. There is a guest theatre lounge with large screen television, cd and dvd player with both dvds and cds provided for your enjoyment. There is also a double spa room and bubbles, bath oils and lotions are provided.
Our stylish country cottages are self catering, and feature spa bath, fully epuipped kitchen, luxurious rocker-recliners and tv, dvd and cd player. Cds and dvds are provided. There is a barbecue and fire cauldron at each cottage.
Both our B&B and Country Cottages offer spectacular views of the valley and surrounding mountains. |

Things To Do
|
| In the historic goldmining town of Gympie, picnic at Lake Alford and surrounding parklands, visit the goldmine and wood work museums, or take a guided Heritage walk. Visit Tin Can Bay and feed the dolphins, stopping off at Rainbow Beach enroute and see the coloured sands, take a stroll along the beach or throw in a fishing line. Ride the Valley Rattler, a restored steam train, from Gympie to Imbil, the largest town in the Mary Valley.
If you join us in August, visit the National Country Music Muster in the Amamoor State Forest.
There are tropical rainforest walks and delightful picnic parks a short distance from the Homestead. Walk the Homestead grounds and stroll through shady mango orchards, or climb the hill behind for spectacular views of the surrounding valley.

$145 per room per night, Friday Saturday Sunday and public holidays.
$132 per room per night, Monday to Thursday.
The tariff includes a hearty four-course breakfast each morning. |

Our stylish country cottages offer full selfcatering facilities with a fully equipped kitchen and barbecue. Each has queen size bed, with ensuite and spa bath as well as fire cauldron (the wood is already chopped for you!), as well as tv, dvd and cd player and dvds and cds are provided for your enjoyment.
Breakfast and Dinner hampers are available by prior arrangement. | Room Rate

Directions
|
| Travelling North: Follow the Bruce Highway north, passing the Eumundi/Kenilworth turnoff, Cooroy turnoff and Imbil Lake Borumba turnoff. Turn left into Traveston Crossing Road.
Travelling South: Follow the Bruce Highway south, passing through Gympie and past the Matilda Service Station. Watch for signage indicating a right hand turn to Amamoor, Amamoor State Forest, Kandanga, into Traveston Crossing Road.
Following the Traveston Crossing Road to a bridge, where the road becomes Meddleton Road. Follow Meddleton Road to a crossroad. Go straight ahead at the crossroad into Blackgate Road. Follow Blackgate Road to a Y Junction, take the left swing of the Y Junction into Kandanga/Amamoor Road. The Homestead is approximately 3 klms along that road on the left hand side. |
