Coastal Cottage
Very well equipped, 1 bedroom cottage close to beautiful beaches and with a stunning ocean view to New Zealand's North Cape. Just bring your clothes and personal items and relax in privacy!

Queen bed. All linens, towels and cleaning supplies etc provided. Dried herbs and spices provided. Barbeque, fish cleaning bench, hammocks, etc. Portacot, pram, highchair available also.

Drive North from Auckland on State Highway 1 for about a comfortable 3 hour drive, taking in Northlands great scenery. Stop halfway at Whangarei Harbour for a relaxed lunch overlooking the water if you like. Turn off onto State Highway 10 to Doubtless Bay and Kerikeri, a town worth stopping in also; famous for it's relaxed, upmarket village atmosphere, citrus and kiwifruit orchards, great vineyards and fabulous, unique, arts and crafts among ather things. About an hour from here turn off onto the Karikari Peninsula, drive through old goldmine area for about 15mins to Whatuwhiwhi, at the very end of the Peninsula and some 20kms out to sea from the mainland! Drive up the hill, past the shop onto Matai Bay Rd. Continue past Doubtless Bay Drive and take the first right of way drive on the right hand side.
