| A small, family run B&B near Newmarket, on the Cork/Kerry border. We are situated in a rural area known as Duhallow.
Ideal for golf, salmon and trout fishing, walking, touring Cork/ Killarney/ Tralee, exploring smaller villages (Meelin, the highest village in Ireland is just 5 mins drive away) or just relaxing.
We are close to the Mullaghareirk Mountains, home to breeding hen harriers and other beautiful birds. Rivers, forests and peat bogs are all around. The array wildflowers in the spring is beautiful.
We sleep up to 6 guests in two spacious rooms; firstly a groundfloor room with kingsize bed and also an upstairs triple family room. Both rooms are en-suite. An extra bed can be incorporated in either room enabling us to accommodate 6 guests at any time. Discount for children under 12
Both rooms have scenic countryside views, remote control colour TV, clock radio, wardrobe and hospitality tray/mineral water.
Extensive breakfast menu (can be emailed if you require) soya/vegetarian/gluten free options available by prior request. Breakfast is served 8-9.30am in our spacious dining area overlooking our koi carp pool.
Children are very welcome. High chair and cot available free of charge. Dogs welcome only by prior arrangement.
Single night stopovers (perhaps on the way to or from the airport), short breaks or a longer holiday, the choice is yours. |

Things To Do

| Several 18 hole golf courses within easy reach. Salmon fishing on the Rivers Blackwater & Feale. Ballybunnion (blue flag sandy beaches) is 50 mins drive. The Foynes flying boat museum is well worth a visit.
We are centrally located for exploring Mallow, Cork City, Cobh, Blarney Castle, Tralee, Killarney and the Ring of Kerry beyond. Good rail links from Mallow/Banteer.
Local shops, cinema, restaurants, children's playgrounds and forest/river walks. Also nearby are Crag Caves, Millstreet Country Park and Liscarrol Donkey Sanctuary.
