The beach and shops are within a couple of minute's walk and there is a wide range of places to eat and drink within 10 minutes walk.

The house was fully refurbished in 2007 and sleeps ten in five generously sized bedrooms (two doubles, a triple, a twin and a single). Additionally there is a double sofabed in one of the living rooms which can be used by arrangement. All of the bedrooms have nice views, either of the coast or of the downs which rise attractively behind the town. Other features include:

Many Victorian period features including high ceilings, panelled staircase, ornate plaster cornicing and ceiling roses, chandeliers and high skirtings.
A high chair, travel cot and small bed are available for young children.
