Set in 30 acres of mixed woodland and pasture with private fishing, La Groge offers a warm welcome in a relaxed environment. During your stay feel free to explore the grounds, we have a small herd of fallow deer and also keep horses, chickens, ducks or just sit back and observe the incredible wildlife. The property has stunning views overlooking the lake and been sympathetically modernised to retain its character and charm with exposed stonework and beams.

Things To Do

The local area is rich in history, with pretty villages and medieval buildings. Still today, the main activity is farming, with excellent local markets selling regional produce. There are several leisure lakes with watersports facilities and areas designated for swimming, an excellent network of signposted walking or cycle routes, 3 golf courses and riding and tennis facilities close by. On the outskirts of Poitiers is a high tech theme park, Futuroscope, with amazing simulators and sensory experiences.

La Groge is situated in the south east of the Vienne region. 7kms north of Montmorillon, near to Pindray. Within easy reach of Poitiers, Limoges or Tours airports or by TGV via Poitiers. By car, Le Havre is approximately 4 hours.
