| Welcome to Fernleigh Cottages Country Retreat, a unique getaway that caters for couples, families and groups. If you are looking for that "Special Place", we feel Fernleigh would be an excellent choice.
Perfect for family reunions, weddings and social groups.
Our cottages are spotless, cosy and private. Select from a Miners Cottage, the Romantic Granny's Cottage or relax in our beautiful 3 bedroom Fern Cottage. Each cottage has a verandah over looking the established country garden.
The Country Lodge is perfect for a group of families or friends, a living space of 35 squares with 5 bedrooms, each having a double bed and bunks. The lounge is the Historical Barn decorated with mementos of a bygone era, color TV, table tennis and a cosy wood heater and plenty of comfy chairs. The dining room has 4 large pine tables with seating for 28 people. The Country kitchen is large enough to hold a party with a gas and electric stove, microwave etc. and a lovely country view from the windows.
Our beautiful gardens and lawns give a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of privacy and room to move on 10 peaceful acres. Sit under a 100 year old gum trees and let time drift by. Garden seats are scattered around the grounds for your enjoyment.
We have ample of outside facilities to keep everyone happy. Swimming pool, tennis court, basketball, volleyball, bbqs and sporting equipment are free to our guests.
Ever tried catching a yabby? How about saying hello to Tara the horse or Kim and Rosie our cows. The chooks get excited feeding them your food scraps.
Rivers, Lakes, Mountains and Wineries are only minutes away.
Forgot to tell you, parents also have a holiday at Fernleigh. Need a romantic dinner without the children, we baby sit free.

Proceed to the end of the main street, then :
1. Sign posted Jamieson & Mt Buller, turn right into Chenery Street.
2. ‘T’ intersection, sign posted Jamieson & Mt Buller, turn left into Malcolm Street.
3. Drive approx 2.3km, sign posted Jamieson, turn right. Travel for approx 9km, cross over the Delatite River, 100 meters sign posted Goughs Bay, turn right.
4. Drive along Goughs Bay Road for approx 7.35km and you will find Fernleigh Cottages on the left hand side just before the entrance of Goughs Bay Township.
