Entering the cottage will further delight you, post and beam construction coupled with charming touches through out give the Lily Pad a unique coziness. Once you've settled in take a two minute walk to the beach where you will find lovely islands and abundance of wildlife.
Tuwanek is famous for having some of the best scuba diving in BC, also the calm waters of sechelt inlet lend themselves very nicely to kayaking. Sitting at the foot of Mount Richardson, Tuwanek is a great spot for hiking and mountain biking. During the winter months cross country skiing is a favorite.
In the evening watch the sunset from the spacious deck overlooking the pond, where wild life frequently visit for a drink or a chance of a fish dinner.
The Lily Pad is a place you won't soon forget.

| Your journey to the Sunshine Coast begins once you board the Ferry in Horseshoe Bay. In only 40 minutes you will arrive at the Langdale terminal, so take a short rest and enjoy the sights as you cross the Inlet. Driving off the Ferry, you will soon arrive in the first town along your way to the Lily Pad, Gibsons. During the 26 km drive to the next main town, Sechelt, you will pass the quaint communities of Roberts Creek, Wilson Creek and sandy beaches of Davis Bay.
Upon entering Sechelt drive until you come to the third set of lights. You will turn right onto Wharf Street.Continue driving on Wharf Street for four blocks, preparing to turn right onto Porpoise Bay Road. It's a 9 km drive out of Sechelt to the Lily Pad and during your journey you'll pass Porpoise Bay Provincial Park, the small community of Sandy Hook and finally the northernmost community of Tuwanek. Your cottage is waiting for you at 7575 Sechelt Inlet Road.
