Relaxing in the Hot “Under the stars” outdoor spa pool, you can count the stars, Expansive mountain views, Red Deer grazing nearby, pasture strolls and bush walks and, Kayaks/canoes, it's as idealic as it sounds. Guided Quad bike Safari's, and 4Wheel Drive Tours of the Deer Farm are also available.
The cottage has a double bedroom with ensuite shower /toilet, fully equipped kitchen, dining room and sleeps one or two couples, or a couple, with two children, (and has an independent bunkroom for any extra teenagers)!
For children's Facilities include a children's play area trampoline, guinea pigs and a family size spa pool. Children's Kayaks and self-sailing mini-yachts are available for use on Weka pond, bicycles also. A mini soccer table and Pool table are available at the main farmhouse should it be wet.
Nearby Geraldine village has a cinema, restaurants, vintage machinery museum, chocolate and cheese making, jams, sauces, crafts and gift shops.

Outdoor pursuits include Rafting the Rangatata river, golf , Trout or Salmon fishing or touring the shops or Grand Country Gardens. In winter (May-Sept) eight ski fields are within an hours drive (including Mount Hutt, Mount Dobson and Lake Tekapo's Roundhill ski field).

| Ten minutes south of the "Beautiful village of Geraldine", (enroute Ch-CH –Queenstown). Aoraki Country Cottage is an independent self-contained apartment located just two minutes drive from the main hiway.
In twenty minutes you can be in Peel Forest, Pleasant point or Temuka just 20 minutes more and you are at the seaside at Caroline Bay, in Timaru. Aoraki/Mount Cook and Lake’s Tekapo, Pukaki are popular day sight seeing or fishing trips. |
