A Birdwatchers Paradise. Platypus Ponds B&B is a traditional in-house B&B set on 3 acres of private wildlife reserve on the banks of the Cabbage Tree Creek. Ideal for bird photography, platypus watching or just a quiet stroll whilst listening to the bellbirds and other bush sounds.
Enjoy a drink sitting by the dam and watch the Kingfishers catching yabbies for their supper.
The property offers Kingsize, Kingsize triple or Queensize comfort - all ensuite with private balcony
A TV room and library plus sitting room with tea/coffee DYO 24/7 plus glass roofed atrium dining area.
We are licenced (no BYO) and all meals are available including packed picnic lunches.
This is an Australian owned and operated family run B&B.

Platypus Ponds is situated 4.1/2 hours from Melbourne, 3.1/2 hours from Canberra and 7 hours from Sydney via the Princes Highway Coastal Route.
We are just 200 metres off the Princes Highway at Cabbage Tree Creek. (plenty of highway signs).
Nearest township is Orbost.
