They created Glen Isla House as a small luxury hotel-style retreat in the classic European style to offer 5 Star rated accommodations quite unique on Phillip Island.
Accommodations offered include a separate four-poster heritage suite cottage, six elegant purpose-architected en-suited guest rooms, all with separate entrances opening onto the deck veranda with garden vistas. In addition a luxury self-cater 2 bedroom cottage with fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area for guests who prefer a self cater option (full breakfast provisions included in the tariff). Glen Isla accommodates a small number of guests only to ensure absolute privacy and unobtrusive personal service.
Glen Isla is close driving distance to the Phillip Island Nature Parks (little penguins & koalas), and the daily Fur Seal Watching cruises. Nearby also are Phillip Island Wineries, pristine surf and swimming beaches and the motorcycle Grand Prix Circuit.

On entry into Cowes, Church Street is the 3rd roundabout. Turn Left (heading west) and Glen Isla House is around 15oo metres along on the left. Look for the high white fence and established mature trees. Enter through the gates and the office is the 2nd building on the left.
Note: Glen Isla House is set in the heritage gardens of the original and hostic Glen Isla Homestead (c1870) and is not associated in any way with the nearby motel/apartments with a similar name. |
