| We offer 2 Standard Bungalows - build in colonial style (including kingsize beds, air conditioning, telephone, TV, balcony, shower and toilet) and a Bungalow (equipped with 2 separate bedrooms, living area, kitchenette, air conditioning, shower and toilet). The absolute highlight off the wellness bungalow is a separate extension with heated spa bath (for up to 6 persons) - outside, surrounded by plenty of tropical plants. It catches totally relaxed the noises of nature at night. In the evening - especially by full moon and a glass of wine - it is an experience not to be missed. |

Things To Do

| We live at the "Reef and Rainforest Coast" in "Tropical North Queensland" - approximately 60 kms north of Cairns and 15 kms south of Port Douglas. It is a very convenient point to explore the surroundings with their world famous natural wonders like daytrips into the World Heritage Park of the Daintree Rainforest, snorkel or dive the Great Barrier Reef, circle the Atherton Tablelands, have a ride amidst the tree tops of the rain forest on the Kuranda Skyrail, watch the crocodiles in the wilderness of the Daintree River and much more.
If you come back after a full day of experiences into the Mountainview Lodge our swimming pool area awaits you for relaxation in tranquil tropical surroundings. Take the opportunity to barbecue your own meal - no matter whether it will be lunch or dinner. Our bungalows are also equipped with two single beds next to each other, lounge, table, chairs, TV, microwave, fridge, kettle, dishes and cutlery. Last, but not least, we would like to say that we would love to be your hosts and share our little paradise for a few days or weeks in the year with nature lovers. |

Our air-conditioned bungalows are equipped with two single bed next to each
other (equals a king-size bed), ensuite, little lounge, dining table,
chairs, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, hot plate, television, video,
all dishes and cutlery. One bungalow has got three single beds. You are
welcome to use, free of charge, the barbecue (gas) in the swimming pool
area, there are also sun lounges, table and chairs to your convenience. We
got one bungalow with three single beds. These bungalows are very close to a
big (120.000 l and 2.4 m deep) Swimming pool. A third bungalow is equipped
with 2 separate bedrooms and an outside gazebo with spa.

Directions

| When you leave Cairns International Airport and reach the turn off at the Capn't Cook Highway please turn right towards Mossman / Mareeba / Port Douglas. At the forth roundabout (Smithfield) take the second exit Mossman / Port Douglas. From now on always straight ahead through several roundabouts until you reach "Ellies Beach". It is now exactly 22 km until you reach on your left hand side Reynolds Road. Please turn in here and go up 700 m, than you will see on your right hand side a sign "Mountain View Lodge" turn right and feel welcome at destination. Important: If you accidentally pass Reynolds Road and you see on your right a big sign "Thala Beach Lodge" you been to far, please turn around, go back about 600 m and now Reynolds Road is on your right hand side. |
