Casa da Vida Nova

|
| Casa da Vida Nova is partly a traditional quintinha
(about 1845), which has been extended in the same traditional style.
The house has been carefully restored, with a keen eye for the original details.
The property is about 1 acre, the building area 260 m² and the swimming pool measures 5 x 10 m.
The setting is rural, but still very close to all amenities;
the airport of Faro is at about 35 minutes by car,
the nearest beaches at 4 km and the Algarve Shoppingcenter at 8 km.
The aquapark “Aqualand” even is at walking
distance of our quintinha.
Alcantarilha with her famous Capela dos Ossos
(Bones Chapel) is even at only 3 minutes drive of our Casa.
While all these amenities and more are at hand, the old-fashioned shepherd passes our house a few times per week with a huge herd of sheep. In short a wonderful mixture of contemporary and traditional Algarve.
In this fantastic setting it is possible to stay in one
of our luxury junior suites or in our guestroom, extensive breakfast included.
Three nights a week you can join us for a delicious dinner (fixed menu), in summertime we often organize BBQ-nights. Out of the hot summer season we offer interesting culinary adventures: the Cooking Workshops.

Things To Do

| The medieval city of Silves -former capital of the Algarve- is at a 10 minutes drive only.
The biggest beach of the Algarve is a 4 minutes drive.
Alcantarilha with her famous Capela dos Ossos
(Bones Chapel) is even at only 3 minutes drive of our
Casa.
Lots of golfcourses at 5 to 20 minutes drive. |

|  | Guestroom Roses
Guestroom Roses exists of a cosy bedroom and a very roomy bathroom; surely you can take a shower together.
This room is also situated in the old part of the quintinha; entrance is through the frontdoor of the main building and the huge hall. On the floor you will find the beautiful old terracotta floortiles and the roof is still original with the beams and bamboo. The massive walls take care of a relatively cool summer and warm winter.
In the hot summermonths you can use the huge ceilingfan to cool you down.
You'll find here 2 boxspring beds sized 90 x 200 cm and a seat with a small refridgerator and a CD-player.
From the bedroomwindow ,to the south, you have a view to an impressive palmtree.
In summertime here you will find a small terrace.
Of course the swimmingpool terrace is a nice alternative, as is the inviting pool itself.
The rooms will be rented out on the basis of bed and extensive breakfast homemade marmelade, fresh orange, juice, tea or coffee, variety of rolls, ham, cheese, eggs, etc. for 2 persons and for minimal 3 nights.

| | Junior Suite Cypresse
This junior suite is situated next to the pool, is completely detached with a spatious private terrace ,20m2,facing south.
The nice bathroom has a washing basin, toilet, big bath with shower.
In the suite you'll find 2 luxurious boxsprings of 90 x 200 cm, a sitting area has been created with two comfortable leather clubchairs,a refridgerator, a Nespresso coffeemachine, a teamaker, and a small kitchen sink.
Also you will find a radio/CD-player and a TV with DVD-player in this junior suite.
The building is completely renovated with floor-, wall- and roofisolation, for cool summers and less cold wintertimes.
The original Algarvian building style with a ceiling of bamboo and wooden beams has been rebuild.
The rooms will be rented out on the basis of bed and extensive breakfast, homemade marmelade, fresh orange juice, tea or coffee, variety of rolls, ham, cheese, eggs, etc. for 2 persons and for minimal 3 nights.

| | Junior Suite Mimosa
This junior suite is situated in the 160 years old part of the house.
It has its own entrance and there is a large terrace available.
On the groundfloor a sittingroom has been created with two
comfortable leather clubchairs, a Nespresso coffeecorner, a teamaker,
a small refridgerator, a radio/CD-set and a TV with DVD-player.
A huge ceilingfan will cool you down on those hot days and nights.
Also you will find here the very nice bathroom, of course with washing basin, toilet and a spacious showerroom.
The sleeping compartment ,with 2 connected beds with a length of 200 cm. is on the entresol, which can be reached by solid stairs. The view from the beds is south towards the sea.
The private terrace is big enough to enjoy the sun during all day.
A pavillion of 9 m2 with Philippe Starck seats will take care of the necessary shade ,if so desired.
Of course you can also opt for the terrace surrounding the swimmingpool.
