| Hotel / Bed & Breakfast “it Heechhus” is located in Lemmer. Because of its location on the IJsselmeer and the Groote Brekken, Lemmer is pre-eminently a water sport village, but for hikers and cyclists it is the right place as well. Gaasterland and the Noordoostpolder tempt you to go for a ride or a hike in the beautiful nature. Hotel “it Heechhus” was realized in premises dating back to 1937 at the address Vissersburen 14 in Lemmer. The hotel is quietly situated near the centre of the village. All amenities, such as restaurants, pubs, beach and shopping malls are within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel has 7 double rooms and 3 single rooms.
Rooms:
Hotel “it Heechhus” counts a total of ten rooms, which may all be described as luxurious. All rooms are provided with high quality beds, flat screen television and telephone. Most rooms are equipped with tea or coffee making facilities. Each room features a beautiful, tiled bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin.
Theme rooms:
Each room is named after a person from Lemmer, who had some involvement with the imposing building or its direct vicinity. This gives each room its own atmosphere and aura. So each room is different. The host or hostess will be pleased to explain how your room came by its name.
Breakfast:
In hotel “it Heechhus” we serve a royal breakfast. You will feel at home in our well-appointed breakfast-room, whether you are staying with us alone or with a group. At home you have something to eat in the morning, but in Hotel “it Heechhus” you will be having a true breakfast.
Hotel “it Heechhus” does not serve lunch or dinner. For this we gladly refer you to the excellent local restaurants in Lemmer.
Information and bookings:
Hotel “it Heechhus” has a non-smoking policy. We do have a pleasant, enclosed garden where you are free to enjoy your cigarette, cigar or pipe.
Guests are welcome throughout the year.
Check-in daily after 14:00 hrs.
Check-out on the day of departure before 11.00 hrs.
Parking is restricted in the direct vicinity of the hotel. The hotel does have enough safe parking spaces at 250 meters where you can park your car for a small fee. Obviously, you may load/unload your luggage in front of the hotel
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in hotel “it Heechhus”
Your bikes, whether your own or rented ones, can be safely garaged.
To prevent disappointments, early bookings are advisable
