| Sintra is full of castles, museums and gardens to visit. There are many marked walking paths in the mountain, lots of cultural activities (concerts, plays). There are many markets and antique shops around the corner - and modern shopping centers 8 kms away. And Sintra is great base for day-tripping, as beaches are 8 kms away and there are 7 golf courses within 20 kms. Cascais and Estoril are 15 kms a way. You can reach Lisbon by local train in 30 minutes, too!

Directions

| In the Historical Centre between the Nacional Palace and Hotel Tivoli, there is a small one-way street down. Go down it, and take a second road to your left, about 300 meters after the hotel. That turn is 'Travessa da Paderna' and takes you straight to our gate. |
