| A tastefully restored farmhouse that combines traditional features with modern comforts. Large floodlit pool set among orange trees. The perfect place to relax and unwind.
All rooms have been individually decorated and have their own private entrance, with patio area and seating outside. There is a guest fridge, stocked with local beer, wine and soft drinks. Once a thriving fruit farm, Duas Quintas has over 1500 orange trees as well as plum, lemon, olive and fig trees. It is a bird lover’s paradise with storks, hoopoes, swallows and buzzards. Wildflowers abound in the springtime. Close to the house, the gardens have been developed, with areas for sitting and relaxing. A barbecue area, beside the pool, allows you to cook your own lunch or evening meal. If you are feeling more energetic, try your hand at table tennis or visit the boules court.
There is ample parking and airport transfers can be arranged on request.
At Duas Quintas we believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Where possible local, fresh produce is used. Start your meal with a choice of cereals, porridge, yogurt or fresh fruit. Try some of our home baked scones or potatoe cakes.Complete your meal with fresh bread, homemade preserves, local cheeses and homemade scones or cake. Fresh orange juice from our own trees is available most of the year.

Things To Do
|
| Duas Quintas is centrally located and is an ideal starting point from which to explore all areas of the Algarve. Portimao is only 12 minutes drive away, Lagos, 30 minutes and Monchique, 30 minutes. 15 minutes drive away are some of the best beaches on the Algarve. To name just a few - Marinha, Caneiros and Benagil are small bays with spectacular rock formations; Armacao de Pera and Gale have long, sandy, open beaches. There are excellent cliff walks and opportunities for dolphin watching, scuba diving and boat trips.
If you are looking for family entertainment, choose from Zoomarine, near Guia, a superb ocean theme park, reputedly the best in Southern Europe or Slide and Splash near Lagoa and Aqualand near Alcantarilha, 2 large water parks promising great fun for all the family.
There are many excellent walks in the area, some starting from just outside our door. A number of golf courses within easy access of Duas Quintas.

Directions
|
| On leaving Faro airport, bear right at the roundabout following the signs to Faro and then to the A22 (or IP1) motorway.
After 3 kilometres, follow the signs to the motorway to Lisbon . This takes you on to the main N125 heading north, away from Faro
After a further 4.5 kilometres get into the left-hand lane in order to bear left, continuing to follow the signs to Loule and the A22/IP1.
After a further 3.5 kilometres, join the A22 motorway. Follow the signs to Lisbon. After 22 kilometres you pass the intersection where the new motorway from Lisbon (A2) joins the A22. Turn right at the next intersection marked Ourique and Lisbon,onto the IC1 or N 264. Continue on this road and take the S.B. Messines turn off. Turn left at this roundabout, taking the turn marked Silves (N124). After about 13 kilometres cross over a narrow bridge and turn sharp right. Continue down this road until you reach a T junction. The house is straight in front of you as you reach the T junction.
