| Whitby is an ideal holiday destination as there are activities in and around Whitby to suit all tastes. The area is a walker's paradise, a historian's delight and a coastal gem. Children love the traditional bucket and spade holiday accompanied by crab fishing, amusements and ensuring that there really are 199 steps leading to the Abbey. In short, Whitby has it all!

| From the A174 out of Whitby town, take the first right opposite the petrol station after the roundabout where Chubb Hill Road becomes Upgang Lane. The Waverley is 200 yards down on the right where Crescent Avenue bends left to the sea front. |
