Ferintosh promotes Dumfries and its historical ties to Robert Burns. We continue our tradition of hosting an Annual Burns Supper complete with piper, lavish spread of Scottish foods, and a whisky tasting contest.
In the guest house, you will find a wide variety of magazines, books and guides to the area including information on Dumfries, Robert Burns, local Burnsian history, walking, cycling, fishing, and golf. Walkers and cyclists are most welcome and we have facilities for their needs. As are fisherman and golfers.

Dumfries was home to Scotland’s National Bard; Robert Burns, J.M. Barrie of ‘Peter Pan’ fame, and was the site of the murder of ‘The Red’ Comyn by Robert The Bruce. Castles, Neolithic cairns & stone circles, and beautiful countryside abound in this area.
