The Bar Harbor room is one of two guest rooms located on the second floor of the renovated guest house. You’ll enter this room from a common staircase situated off of the carriage house deck. With lots of windows this bright and sunny room has a vaulted beamed ceiling and is decorated in Chambray blue plaids with hints of natural linen. Bar Harbor, boasts a king size beds with upholstered headboard that also converts to twin beds, bed side tables, side chair and queen size sofa sleeper. The newly remodeled bathroom has a corner marble shower and marble floors. The Bar Harbor room overlooks the carriage house and guest house lawns as well as the bridal path and perennial garden.

Located in the main house, this roomy abode, bejeweled in the rich dark colors of Charleston, South Carolina, overlooks the rear gardens and comes complete with fainting couch, queen size upholstered bed, antique mahogany dresser & mirror and mahogany writing desk & chair. The bathroom has a full size bathtub and shower and all the amenities needed for a luxurious soak. The Charleston room offers its guest a private porch overlooking the natural setting of our 7 plus acres. Enter this room through the stairway in the main foyer of the main house.

The Savannah room is one of two rooms located on the ground floor of the renovated guest house. You enter this elegant room from a private 12’ by 35’ lounging deck on the west side of the building. This spacious room with original pine plank floors is decorated in tans, greens and golds. This room has a queen size sleigh bed, love seat, which opens into a single bed for an additional guest, and a comfortable wingback chair for reading. The bath is adorned with luxurious marble floors and a large marble shower. (This room is also Handicap Accessible.)

Located in the main house, this spacious guest room, with windows overlooking the east lawn and gazebo, is the original master suite of our circa 1790 inn. Guests are greeted by a beautifully canopied queen size four poster bed positioned in front of the original working fireplace. Two large wingback chairs situated at a skirted breakfast table await you for a bit of quite relaxation. Wall coverings are pale bronze and accented by lovely embossed tone on tone sandy green draperies and bedding trimmed with bold fringe and ivory damask. The bathroom has a full size bath tub and shower and is equipped with all the amenities you could desire, including blow dryer, high-end shampoos and conditioners as well as bath gel and assorted bath salts for a relaxing bubble bath.

Located on the ground floor of the renovated guest house, the entrance to this well appointed room is through French doors from a private 8’ by 22’ lounging deck on the north side of the guest house. This spacious room with original pine plank floors is decorated in Burnished Mahogany with hunter green and royal blue fabrics. The private deck overlooks a meadow with the woodlands beyond. Winchester has a four posted queen size bed, bed side tables, chest of drawers, and queen size sofa sleeper in a spacious sitting area. The bathroom has Jacuzzi tub/shower combination with marble surround and floors.

Directions

| Once on the island: From the Vineyard Haven Ferry: From the Five Corners intersection or Main Street, take State Road heading up island. Foloow State Road to Lambert’s Cove Road Lower End (1.5 miles). Turn right and travel 3 miles until you see the Lambert’s Cove Inn sign on the left. Turn left and follow the lane ½ mile to our parking area. From the Airport: Turn right out of the airport onto the West Tisbury – Edgartown Road. At the triangle intersection, turn right onto State Road toward Vineyard Haven. Follow for about 2 miles, to Lambert’s Cove Road is on your left. Go 1.5 miles and you will see our sign on the right. Turn right and follow the lane ½ mile to our parking area. From Oak Bluffs: With the harbor on your right take New York Ave out of Oak Bluffs to Vineyard Haven. Follow directions from Vineyard Haven. From Edgartown: Take the Edgartown – Vineyard Have Road to State Road (7 miles). Turn left on State Road. Follow directions from Vineyard Haven.
