Things To Do

• Clovelly Country Club, Clovelly for golf, tennis and bowls. • Simonstown and Kalk Bay have lovely harbours, quaint shops, arts & crafts, curios and good restaurants • Cape Point Nature Reserve. A 15 minute drive – one of Cape town’s main Tourist attractions. • Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach (just beyond Simonstown). • Several excellent wine estates in Constantia (about 20 minutes drive) offer tours, wine tasting and excellent restaurants • World of Birds, Valley Road, Hout Bay is the largest Bird Park in Africa. • Chapman’s Peak. Drive along this world famous, scenic route between Noordhoek and Hout Bay • Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Superb gardens in a beautiful setting (about 25 minutes drive). • Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts. Every Sunday November to April from 1730 – 1830. Take along a picnic supper and enjoy excellent music in a superb setting. • Lovely coastal walk between St James station and Muizenberg station

Directions

Directions from Cape Town Airport :

From the airport follow signs "N2 Cape Town"

Continue along the N2 until it seems as though you are about to drive into the mountain! Take the "M3 Muizenberg" feed off to the left.

Proceed along the M3 ends in a T junction.

Turn left towards the Main Road (follow the "Muizenberg" sign NOT right to Fish Hoek).


At the next traffic light turn right towards Muizenberg.
Proceed along the Main Road through Muizenberg, St James and Kalk Bay and into Fish Hoek.

At the traffic circle at the end of Fish Hoek Main Road turn left towards Simonstown.

About 1 k beyond the circle, at the first set of traffic lights, turn right into Hillside Road (you will now be driving back the way you have just come but at a higher level).
