| The Annex Quest House is conveniently located in midtown Toronto in the Annex district. We are a short walking distance to the Royal Ontario Museum, Casa Loma, University of Toronto, Fields Institute, new Varsity Stadium, Queen's Park, Mirvish Village and Bloor shopping. |

All the room numbers with 3 at the end have been dedicated to the element of air. In these rooms, we tried to give emphasis to the northwest quadrant when we could. Air is the breath of life-it causes the movement in our body and in the natural world around us. For example, it moves the clouds, rustles the leaves, and pushes our own oxygen through our body. It creates the play of dance between the sun and shadows that makes a room so beautiful in the course of a day. | Room Rate

| | Earth
All the room numbers with 1 at the end are in the southwest of the Annex Quest House. The southwest represents the element of earth. Earth represents heaviness and strength-accordingly the heaviest items in a room should be in the south and west. Earth is the repository for all that has past; therefore, the element of earth symbolically represents the wisdom and knowledge that we gain from our ancestors who have departed-from ashes to dust. All that dies also gives nourishment to that which follows. Finally, the bones in our body filled with minerals, give us our strength. | Room Rate

| | Fire
All the room numbers with 2 at the end have been dedicated to the element of fire. Fire is the source of sustenance (we can not live without the sun) and fire is the force behind purity. Fire in the body is the governing force behind digestion. It burns calories and gives us our metabolism-or energy. We purify with intense heat. Finally, fire is the liberator of the soul. At the time of cremation, the flame is first placed at the location of the third eye; and when the forehead pops it is believed that the fire has freed the soul from the physical entrapment of the body. All the room numbers with 4 and 5 at the end are in the northeast of Annex Quest House. These rooms are dedicated to the element of water. Water is a source of tranquility and calm. Stare at a pool of water and it makes you feel peaceful. The northeast is the location of the rising sun in the northern hemisphere. The sun that comes at dawn is the gentlest, kindest light. Yogis are supposed to face the northeast when they do yoga and meditate. This sun is so enriching at this time and helps quiet the mind. Water not only reflects the properties of the early morning sun, but it also collects the positive energies that are given off by the sun at this time of day. | Room Rate

| Annex Quest House is at 83 Spadina Road on the east side of the street. We’re two blocks north of the intersection of Spadina Road and Bloor Street, and we’re right next to the Kendal Avenue exit of the Spadina Subway station.
