We are situated in our own grounds within rolling countryside. We are a non-smoking establishment with large gardens and good parking. Good food, comfortable rooms and a warm welcome await you. Cauldburn House is centrally situated for touring Scotland for business or pleasure. Visit the unique Falkirk Wheel, Linlithgow Palace and the many other mansion houses in the area. We are ideally placed for visiting Edinburgh, Livingston, Stilrling, Fife and the Trossachs.

Linlithgow area has ample sports and leisure facilities. Play golf at either of the 2 excellent 18 hole golf courses. Enjoy fishing at Linlithgow Loch, Beecraigs Country Park, Bowden Springs or Parkley Craigs Fisheries. There are 2 country parks, which lie within 2 miles of the town, Muiravonside Country Park and Beecraigs Country Park. In which You can stroll, visit the deer and wildlife or ride one of the many marked cycle routes. Linlithgow Loch offers canoeing. Linlithgow Canal Society offer leisurely trips along the canal. The Canal Society also offers trips to visit the Unique Falkirk Wheel. Or take a train ride on the Boness Steam train and visit Birkhill Fireclay mines. Within driving distance. | Directions to Cauldburn House from Edinburgh
Exit Junction 3 of the M9 and take left into Linlithgow. At the small roundabout take right on to Linlithgow High Street and continue along the High Street until reaching the next roundabout ( newly constructed). Take left, sign posted A706 and continue out of Linlithgow. Continue under the railway bridge, past the Rugby Club on the right and on out of town. At the next roundabout go straight over – sign posted Lanark A706 and continue out into the countryside. There is a short straight then a double S bend - the main road then crosses the Union canal (single traffic bridge) with right of way being given to the traffic from Linlithgow. At this point Woodcockdale Farm and a sign for Arn House is on your right. On Crossing the Union Canal the road rises steeply – the entrance to Cauldburn House is approx 100 yards up on the left hand side, just prior to Belsyde lodge and entrance to Belsyde.
