| The Ardagh Hotel and Restaurant is a quite family run hotel, situated on the edge of Ardbear Bay in the scenic heart of Connemara, 3km from Clifden, Connemara, an area of untamed natural beauty, is well known for it’s flora and fauna, its bays and inlets, beaches and lakes, its rocky mountains and the prominent Twelve Bens.
With 21 bedrooms, 10 of which overlooking the Ardbear Bay, are well appointed to make any guest feel at home. All of which are en-suite, with central heating, tea/coffee making facilities, and color televisions. Large suites are also available overlooking the bay.
The restaurant which has been recognized for excellence by both the R.A.C and the AA, is personally supervised by the owner-chef. Specializing in locally caught seafood and fresh home grown vegetables, great attention to detail is complimented by an imaginative wine list and extraordinary view of the Ardbear Bay.

| Once you’re here, there is so much to do and see, and the Ardagh Hotel makes the perfect base to explore this natural haven for outdoor pursuits. Connemara is truly a wonder for outdoor activities, from some of the finest Trout and Salmon fishing to some Shark fishing at sea, which makes for an unforgettable day.
For those of you who find the wilds of Connemara calling to you, it is a perfect place for some hill, bog and mountain walking. Island trips are also available and all activities can be organised through the hotel.
