| Plumwood Inn is a small romantic retreat situated in the historical heart of Franschhoek and offers seven rooms of different sizes in two adjacent properties: four rooms in the main house and three in the villa.
Plumwood Inn is designed for your all-year-round enjoyment. We want you to feel at home. The atmosphere at Plumwood Inn is one of tranquil sophistication and the timeless charm; a place where you will be unobtrusively pampered and where you will wake up to glorious views, bird song and clean air.
Excellent personal service, with attention to detail, ensures a relaxed and pampered stay. We like to keep things simple, but exceptional and we pride ourselves on our reputation for warm, world class service, and the little touches that make the difference.
Each of the seven rooms has a unique sense of style and design equipped with satellite TV, hair-dryer, mini-safe, alarm clock, heater, air-conditioning and en-suite bathroom. For the winter months, under-floor heating in the luxury rooms will keep you warm and cosy.
Start your day with a sumptuous alfresco breakfast with homemade preserves, bread and other delights on the sunny garden terrace or in our elegant lounge.
3-course Traditional dinners will be served on Monday and Thursday.
End a memorable evening with tales, sipping delicious wines, coffee & liqueurs.
No smoking in the entire Guesthouse except on the verandahs and balconies.
Splash away the heat of the day in one of the swimming pools set in our lovely secluded garden. At 9m long, the pool is perfect for a few laps before breakfast.

Directions
|
| Entering Franschhoek, stay in the main road (Huguenot Street) until you see the sign Plumwood Inn on your right - about 200 meters from the Monument. This is the corner of Huguenot Street and Berg Street. Turn right into Berg Street Turn right again in Cabriere Street. Plumwood is the 4th property on the right hand side.
Coming from the Franschhoek Pass (Hermanus/Route 62)
From Hermanus you drive towards the N2. Follow the sign Villiersdorp.
Villiersdorp towards Franschhoek and go into the Franschhoek Pass. At the end of the pass you see the monument on your left hand side.
At the Huguenot Monument, turn right into the Main Street.
Take the first turn to the left, this is Berg street.
There is also a sign "Plumwood Inn" on that corner, so you can't miss it.
Then you take the second street to the right, which is Cabriere Street.
Also on this corner there is a sign "Plumwood Inn".
