Welcome to our lovely home filled with original art, laughter and great food. Your caring hosts have created a truly unique boutique accommodation. Joe, with a degree in naturopathic medicine, specializes in therapeutic massage. Kay, author and former cooking school owner, can provide delightful dinners or cooking classes.
Awake to the sensory pleasure of freshly baked bread, and sip a cappuccino while your omelet is being prepared. Enjoy gourmet breakfasts with such treats as Chilie Relleno Quiche, Italian Frittatas or Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon. Our Swedish-style Blueberry Pancakes with glazed bananas and passion fruit lemon curd have become famous. We provide a selection of cereal, homemade yogurt, fresh fruit and toast as well. Nelson is the favorite town in all of New Zealand. A day exploring the city center will be rewarded with great finds of designer fashions, marino wool products, amazing art works and great meals. The Saturday Market is famous throughout the country. Spend another day exploring Able Tasman Indulge yourself, after exploring the best of New Zealand’s wineries, galleries, restaurants,, golf or National park treks, with a leisurely soak in the spa. Choose the quiet, sun-drenched garden or a peaceful patio, sipping a glass of wine to celebrate the sensational sunset, exquisite bay & mountain views. Read a book in the sculpture garden and quaff the aroma of fresh herbs, fruit, and organic produce.
Enjoy luxurious, smoke-free accommodations: ensuites with heated towel bars & warmed tile floors. The “Tuscan Room” and the “Chambre de Provence” offers art and fine linens from Europe. Both rooms feature king-size beds or super-twins with heated tile ensuite bathrooms. Private parking exists. Pets, laundry and courtesy transfers are all possible by arrangement. We have high speed internet and a guest computer. A DVD player and surround sound TV are located in the guest lounge. We provide 24-hour tea making facilities and a complimentary glass of wine and appetizers each evening. Our boutique accommodation is 10 minutes north of Nelson. With so much to do in the region, a minimum stay of 3 nights is recommended.

Things To Do

| The shops in Nelson are a real dream. Artists throughout the area display their work at various galleries. We have several clothing designers located in the Central Business District and the cafe culture is alive and well in this great town. Take a boat from the marina in Nelson to the Able Tasman Park and do a hike, enjoy a fine lunch and relax in the high speed catamaran returning to Nelson for a meal in one of our lovely coastal restaurants. Take a day and drive the wine trail and the craft trail. you can go along the coast south from time and then turn inland returning to Nelson along the Moutere Highway. Kayaking, beach combing, fishing, sailing are just a few of the things that can be enjoyed in the area. At our Bed and Breakfast we are set up to pamper you as our guest. Enjoy a relaxing massage and a soak in the outdoor spa while sipping a glass of local wine and enjoying the stars. |
