Minard Castle

Minard Castle stands in its own grounds in beautiful countryside on the north-western shore of Loch Fyne, three-quarters of a mile (1km) from the A83 Inveraray to Lochgilphead road, 12 miles from Inveraray. Our Scottish castle is a historic house dating from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

Our peaceful location is an ideal base for touring this scenic part of Argyll with its gardens, archaeological sites and visitor attractions; or just for a quiet break.

The Lodge, our centrally heated self-catering (vacation rental) property, is located in the castle grounds. It has a view through trees to the loch, and has its own small garden. It has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, and sleeps 4 to 6. Heating, linen and towels are included in the price. Guests are welcome to enjoy the castle garden and grounds. Sorry, no pets, and no smoking. Children are welcome.
