| Helen's B&B is her home, and your home-away-from-home. The contemporary open-plan house is 2-storey, sunny and with wonderful views of Kapiti Island and the Tasman sea. Direct access to a long sandy beach, great for walking and safe for swimming.
There are 3 restaurants/bistros within walking distance of B&B or, if you are tired of eating out, at reasonable notice Helen can prepare for you a good home-cooked dinner.

Things To Do
|
| There are many things to do on the coast: walk the long sandy beach, explore the Waikanae River estuary and lagoons with renown local "birdman" Mik Peryer. If you have pre-arranged a permit you can visit Kapiti Island, a predator-free nature reserve having the widest, most diverse range of endangered species of birds anywhere in the country. Helen has a couple of complimentary bicycles you can ride, visit Southwards Car Museum, the Lindale Centre (home of award-winning Kapiti Cheeses), horse-riding, golfing, etc. |

A large bedroom upstairs with magnificent views of Kapiti Island and the Tasman Sea. Robes provided. There is access from the bedroom to a large balcony. Adjoining this bedroom is a large comfortable shared guest lounge, tea-making facilities and small fridge. There is no TV in this area but guests are welcome to join Helen in main lounge to view cable TV. | Room Rate

Directions

| Approx 55 mins drive from Wellington City, travel north on SH1, cross Waikanae Bridge, then left into Te Moana Road. Follow road down (note: Te Moana Road is approx 6kms long from turn off at SH1), keep left where road splits. At T-intersection turn left into Tutere St.
