| Utopia has been a household name in the Magaliesberg for more than twenty-five years and many visitors who re-visit Utopia frequently recall their wonderful memories of adventure and excitement during their younger years while visiting the resort.
Short-term holiday accommodation is offered in self catering A-framed chalets. Each unit is decorated to make our guests feel at home. 4 & 6 sleeper chalets are available, each with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and private patio with bbq facilities.
In keeping with the bush experience there is no electricity but the chalets are equipped with LP Gas and the lights, geyser, fridge and stove all work very efficiently.
With the diverse terrain there are many different view points and we can offer either a secluded bush holiday or a unit with a view of the Buffelspoort Dam; on the river; the choice is yours.
Our main complex with its shop, lapa, chapel and other sporting and leisure facilities offers a great relaxing break-away weekend or holiday away from the fast lane. Situated in the foothills of the majestic Magaliesberg, said to be the second oldest mountain range in the world, Utopia is a culmination of the ancient and the new. A place where time offers the luxury of reflection and peace. |

| DIRECTIONS FROM JHB
Take the R512 (Lanseria Road) to Hartbeespoort Dam. Turn left at the 3-way stop at Pelindaba and follow the road to Hartbeespoort Dam. Cross the bridge and turn right at the T-junction. Turn Left at the 4-way stop (R104) and pass the Welwitschia Country Market. Continue with this road for ± 35km, past Mooinooi and ATKV Buffelspoort. At the stop street turn left (follow Utopia signs) and continue for ± 10km past Buffelspoort Dam, Omaramba and Tree Tops Farm Stall. Turn left at the "Maarhaarrand" sign. The road becomes a dirt road. Turn left (between the café and tea garden) and over a little bridge and follow the signs to Utopia. Utopia is next door to Mountain Sanctuary Park, turn left before Mountain Sanctuary Park gate.

Take the N4 to Rustenburg. Take the Mooinooi turnoff, turning left. Follow road to T-Junction. Turn right onto R104 – toward Rustenburg. Pass ATKV Buffelspoort Resort on your left. Pass over Sterkstroom and turn left at 3-way stop (follow signs to Utopia) continue for ± 10km past Buffelspoort Dam, Omaramba and Tree Tops Farm Stall. Turn left at the "Maarhaarrand" sign. The road becomes a dirt road. Turn left (between the café and tea garden) and over a little bridge and follow the signs to Utopia. Utopia is next door to Mountain Sanctuary Park, turn left before Mountain Sanctuary Park gate.
