· Self-contained accommodation: a modern two-bedroom holiday house/bach (Snapper Bach), suitable for up to 4 adults or small family groups. Long-term rentals (for instance; artists, writers, politicians on sick leave or in fact anyone desirous of absolute peace & quiet.) are also most welcome. Everything provided apart from food.
· Bed & Breakfast accommodation: separate upstairs (Bellbird) and downstairs (Tui) en-suite Queen bed units with inter-connecting access if required. A sumptuous continental breakfast included. The upstairs Bellbird also features a kitchenette with private sunny balcony overlooking the water.
TV/DVD in all units, BBQ. Internet access on request.

Stroll through lush landscaped grounds with private cliff access leading to a small but enchanting pebble beach and rugged rocky foreshore – fish from the rocks, snorkel or scuba dive for lobster, kayak, swim, search for seashells or simply just lay back and breathe in the raw, virtually untouched beauty of this lesser travelled, unhurried corner of New Zealand.

| Other activities and places to visit within easy drive include numerous sandy beaches & secluded bays, bush walks, East Cape lighthouse, Manuka Oil & Honey factory/shop near Hicks Bay, Motu River jet boating, Maungaroa Station horse treks, Whangaparoa Maori cultural walks, historic Raukokere Church, Maori artwork at St Mary’s Church - Tikitiki, local Maori meeting houses – e.g. the impressively carved Tukaki Marae – Te Kaha, Waihau Bay (Hotel & fishing charters), Whanarua Bay (macadamia nut plantation/shop), Te Kaha (Hotel, general store, takeaways & modern café).
