Arts & Craft Galleries, & good shopping. An abundance of well laid out walks such as AH Read, Harold Menzies Scenic Reserve & Whangarei Falls. Whangarei, known as 'City of 100 beaches' all worth a visit & within easy reach. Wine tasting at Longview Estate Winery, just 5 mins south of Whangarei. Or just sit & relax in the garden with a coffee or a glass of wine or two. |

| Just 2 hours drive north of Auckland, or 10mins north of Whangarei on SH1 (Kamo By-Pass) passing the 'Hidden House Picture Framing' on the left, continue up the hill & take the next left at the Historic Church & Apotu Rd sign, then left again into Crane Rd, continue for approx 1.5k, you will find us on the left. If you have passed the lake on your left, you have gone too far! Only 45mins south of Bay of Islands. |
