La Rivolte

La Rivolte is a magnificent 19th century mansion surrounded by 5 acres of Mediterranean gardens. There is a jade green heated swimming pool and sauna and the villa has spectacular panoramic views over the Bay of Cannes and the old town of Grasse, known as the perfume capital of the world. The villa has 8 provencal bedrooms, 7 in the villa with sea views. The 8th bedroom, Herb Cottage, is an annex in the garden and has a private patio/garden area. Although situated in a quiet residential area, all local amenities such as shops, restaurants, etc. are just a 5 minute walk away. There are 2 salons, one with satellite TV, piano, X-Box and DVD player, the other a library with novels, guidebooks and maps. A delicious continental breakfast is served either on the terrace with panoramic views or in the very short winter, in the large kitchen/dining room with open fireplace. La Rivolte is an excellent base from which to explore the Cote d'Azur.
