Property Description

 
Gleniti is a 200 hectare property running sheep and cattle with forestry and native bush blocks. The property offers good road access for walking, and from the heights of the tracked area, there are magnificent views across the Waimea Plains to the sea and coastline beyond.
Gleniti is in a peaceful setting, close to swimming and fishing rivers and only 30 minutes from Nelson city. Our Farm Homestead offers Queen and Twin rooms and comfortable living areas, along with a garden for guests to relax in.

Things To Do

Guests may want to just relax and enjoy the comforts of our home or the peace of our garden. Farmtracks provide good access for walking. A 4WD farm tour - also see the views from the top of our hills over the Waimea Plains. Beautiful swimming rivers, and fishing are just down the road. En -route to Nelson and out to Abel Tasman Park visit the many arts and crafts of the Nelson region. Enjoy also the vineyards and cafes so close. You can choose to do as much or as little as you wish.

Directions

From Nelson city travel south through Richmond, continue along State Highway 6[SH6], turn left at Brightwater Motor Inn and continue along River Terrace Road to the Lee Valley bridge, Turn right before bridge into the Wairoa Gorge Road then turn right into Garden Valley Road and travel 1.8kms to Gleniti gate on the left. Our name is on the Mailbox [GRANT]
From the Garden Valley corner to Gleniti gate is 1.8kms.
From our gate drive 50m approximately, then turn right to take track up the hill to the house [approx. 0.8kms]
