Our 5 STARS GOLD AWARD farmhouse is situated in the heart of North Northumberland within easy reach of Alnwick, Berwick and Morpeth. Our luxurious en-suit bedrooms are designed to ensure maximum comfort with bulging hospitality trays, king sized beds and goose down duvets. After a good night sleep guests enjoy a hearty breakfast in our garden room with spectacular views of the Coquet valley and Cheviot Hills. Choose from a traditional farmhouse breakfast of locally produced eggs, sausage and bacon plus all the trimmings or opt for the local favourite – Craster kippers. Lighter options including fresh fruit salads and a range of cereals and yoghurts are available and any special dietary requirements can be catered for.

There are plenty of activities to keep you busy on our working sheep farm including fishing and walking. The river Coquet boasts exceptional brown trout and salmon fishing for those with the patience to try! Walks take you over the Simonside Hills where you can spot an abundance of local wildlife including red squirrels, deer and even red kites! You can also hunt for ancient Cup and Ring Marks carved into the stones on the hills. Or hop in the car to explore all the attractions of Northumberland including Cragside, Alnwick Castle or the Farne Isles. With so much to explore you’ll find it hard to fit it all in. After a busy day relax by the fire in our guest lounge. Wet walking boots can be dried out by our Aga and a laundry service is available if required.

Many of our guests enjoy their stay so much they return time and time again to enjoy the scenery and luxurious accommodation open year round.
