Golden beeches and swimming beeches welcome you. Walks and hikes in Kahurangi and Abel Tasman National Parks are varied, from strolls to challenging, multi day hikes.

Directions

From Nelson
Take the SH60 towards Motueka for about 45 mins.
As you come in to Motueka go straight over the roundabout.
Pass Toad Hall on your left & carry on for a few minutes.
The Department of Conservation offices are on your left-hand side, turn right.
(There is also the clock tower, which you need to turn right before hand.)
Turning right takes you into Old Wharf Rd.
Take the 2nd left into Thorp St.
Copper Beech Fine Accommodation is 100m on left.

From Christchurch/Murchison inland route
Travel on the inland highway from Christchurch/Murchison.
You will come to a compulsory stop with the Motueka Aerodrome on your left.
Go straight over this compulsory stop.
Travel down King Edward Street and come to another compulsory stop with the clocktower on your left & the Department of Conservation building on your right.
Go straight over at this compulsory stop.
Take the 2nd left into Thorp St.
Copper Beech Fine Accommodation is 100m on left.
