Directions

| Located at 22 La Perouse Street, Griffith in the ACT, it is actually difficult to find! To ensure you or your taxi driver do not become unnecessarily "lost", bring the location map (from the website or brochure or your host's faxed copy) with you.
Most people in Canberra have heard of and know La Perouse Street - it is a very long narrow road traversing the suburbs of Griffith and Narrabundah up to Red Hill. It is well signposted on route and supposedly starts at Flinders Way, Griffith, ending at Mugga Way, Red Hill.
La Perouse Bed & Breakfast is not in this long stretch of road! It is sited in the little known 3 block section of La Perouse Street that is not signposted at either end, just 2 blocks behind Manuka Village.
Access is either by Flinders Way or Furneaux Street. If by Flinders Way, you drive uphill (northwards) at a divided unsignposted road (dodge a triangular garden bed) about 20 metres diagonally opposite the large sign on Flinders Way that directs traffic along La Perouse Street to the Red Hill shops. Again, do not follow that signed section.
If you are driving from Furneaux Street, in the suburb of Forrest, where La Perouse Street actually starts - again it is unsignposted - your approach must be via Murray Crescent, then one block along turn uphill at the traffic island where Stokes Street merges with La Perouse Street.
