| Candelária is a special choice for those who appreciate something different. It is a lovely, renovated traditional house which is connected to the house of an elderly Portuguese couple. There are 4 bedrooms, each with twin beds and 1 family room which has a doubled bed and one three quarter bed, suitable for 1 adult or 2 children. Each room has it's private bathroom with shower, wc and washbasin.
On the first floor is a large living room with an open kitchen area. The kitchen has a gas cooker, oven, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator and kitchen utensils. On the same floor there is a roof terrace with beautiful views over the valley. The garden also has a terrace and some fruit trees. In the village there are several typical taverns and one of them has a small grocery shop.
Candelária is perfectly situated for those who enjoy walking (hiking) and the beauty of nature, or for those who just seeking a tranquil retreat away from the busy world.
The surroundings are abundant in almond, olive, fig and carob trees and a small river, the Ribeira d´Algibre, is close by. |
