| The Virginia Cliffe Inn is nestled among the trees in the settlement of Glen Allen, twelve miles north of Richmond, Virginia. The six-acre grounds front on historic Mountain Road - the path Thomas Jefferson traveled on his trips from Charlottesville to Richmond and Williamsburg.
The house is styled in the tradition of the grand plantation homes of the eighteenth century. The spacious guest rooms, each with a private bath, are individually decorated. The master suite has a canopy bed. The furnishings, decorations and handmade quilts will remind you of times gone by. |

| Central Virginia is the home of many historical landmarks, battlefields, museums, theaters and recreation areas. The Virginia Cliffe Inn is within one hour of Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Williamsburg and Petersburg and the Bush Gardens and Water Country theme parks. It is a two hour drive to the Atlantic Beaches, the Blue Ridge Mountains and Washington, D.C.
In nearby Richmond, you can find the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the Virginia State Capitol, and Shockoe Bottom, a riverfront district lined with fine restaurants, shops and nightclubs.
