The Gatehouse is a one bedroomed cottage that can sleep a maximum of four people. It has all the mod cons in the middle of the African Bush. Enjoy a beer or a braai on your private braai patio or swim in our rockpool with a view. Wonderful views over the Magalies mountaiiins and Hartbeespoortdam.

Things To Do

Relax, swim, hike or birdwatch on site. Gameviewing is cannot be guaranteed whilst hiking. Visit The Lion and Rhino park, Wonder Caves and Sterkfontein caves. Have breakfast with the elephants or see the king cheetah at De Wildt Cheetahs Have lunch on a boat on the Hartbeespoort Dam or at one of the many restaurants in the area. Browse at the flea markets or select from the huge range of African Curios at the african market. Or see the view from a different perspective in a hot air balloon.

Directions

Take Hans Strydom Drive past Lanseria. Continue until you reach a sign for Kalkheuvel West on your left. Sign in at the security boom. Drive along Kalkheuvel Road until you come to Northview Road. Turn Right into Northview Road. At the topof the hill turn left into Jackal Drive. Follow Jackal Drive about 3 kms to the T junction. Turn right into Reedbuck Ridge. Pass through the green boom on the next corner. BE CAREFUL in case the boom is down! Carry on until you come to a green gate. The Gatehouse is the green cottage on your left immediately inside the gate.
