Property Description

 
Le Vieux Presbytere is a 400 year old presbytery in the small village of Noulens in the Gers. An old colombage house, once the home to the priest of Noulens, the house has seen many changes and occupants. Surrounded by gardens full of fruit trees, palms and shrubs, the property runs down through avenues of pine trees to the fields beyond. L'Atelier, for one nights stay or more is a calm and tranquil room, overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. Breakfast of seasonal fruit, muffins and homemade jams is served in the room or in the garden. Dinner using the wonderful local produce is available on request. 2 self catering gites on the property also available.

Things To Do

Discover this quiet, rural region of South West France with its ancient bastide villages, chateaux and rolling green countryside. Best explored on foot or by bicycle. Daily markets in local villages and towns, surrounded by vineyards where one can taste the armagnac and wines of the region. A foodies paradise with the local specialities, including many duck dishes and foie gras. Or otherwise laze by the pool with a good book and a glass of chilled local wine.

L'Atelier
The room, with private entrance overlooking the gardens and pool is in soft, restful colours with one original open-timbered wall. Large French double bed with soft white linen. A sitting area for relaxing with sofa and bookcase. The bathroom has a Victorian bath, a wet room with double shower and large fluffy towels.		Room Rate
70 euros per night for 2 people.

Directions

From the N124 between Demu and Manciet take the sign to Bascous. Continue through Bascous to Noulens, approx 2 kms. Le Vieux Presbytere is after the farm on the left BEFORE the church.
