| The Groveland Hotel is located in Groveland, California on historic Highway 120, the most direct route is from the San Francisco Bay area. This Country Inn is located just 23 miles from the main gate of Yosemite National Park.
This historic landmark hotel and restaurant have been fully restored to standards that have to be seen (and tasted) to be truly appreciated! Using 21st century technology, owners Grover and Peggy Mosley invite you to explore and learn more about what Country Inns Magazine rates as one of the Top 10 Inns in the United States.
Each of the distinctively decorated rooms includes private bath, luxurious bathrobes, European antiques, down comforters and feather beds. Visitors from abroad tell the innkeepers the Old World atmosphere reminds them of home. Guests are served our Innkeeper Breakfast Buffet featuring a selection of baked goods, hot and cold cereals, waffles, eggs and omelettes to order, bacon, sausages, ham, freshly ground coffee, Tazo teas, juices and fruits. Most rooms have queen beds, full baths and in-room coffee and tea service. Suites come complete with spa tub and fireplace. Some rooms have television. Follow Highway 120 to Groveland, California. The Inn is located on Main Street at the east end of town. Free parking at the rear.
From Oakland Airport: 135 miles
San Francisco's airport is the favorite for many travelers, but others have discovered the ease of using the Oakland Airport, approximately 2 hours to the Groveland Hotel. Take 80 East to 580 East, then 99 North for a mile or so. Exit onto 120 East (end of Freeway). Follow the two lane road through Manteca, Escalon and Oakdale. (great place to Gas Up!) Enjoy the beautiful almond trees in spring bloom. Many fruit stands dot the road for a short and tasty break.
