| our B+B is in a smal historic railwaytown where time stands still the Terowie storydates back to the pastoral era of the mid 1800s.Terowie is derived from alocal Aborigial word meaning 'hidden waters. when the broad gaugerailway arrived from Adelaide in 1880, Terowie boomend, and for almost 90 years Terowie was the breakof gauge going north and south. In the hey days[1940-50s]there was a population of over 2000 people. In 1985, the railways finaly left Terowie with the line ripped up. the main street is still in 1880 condition |

| the old hospital is now a bed and breakfast on the corner of John and Mitchell street.It has 3 double rooms 1 tween room and 1 single, share bathrooms, lunch and breakfast room tabeltennis room and loundry, outside garden and BBQ. we are 210 km from Adelaide,100 from the Clare valy, 80 km from the Flinders Ranges, 36 km from Jamestown and 23 from Peterborogh. It is quit and very romantic |
