| Maggi and Mike de Rozario invite you to share their home, Les Cerisiers, an elegant restored house in the pretty village of Laguepie which nestles at the junction of the rivers Viaur and Aveyron.
Laguepie lies between the beautiful hilltop villages of Cordes and Najac, and is within easy reach of Albi with its stunning cathedral and the renowned Gaillac vineyards. The house itself is on the edge of the village, overlooking the medieval chateau and within 2 minutes walk of restaurants, bars, shops and the local train station. Ideal for walking, fishing, photography, bird watching, sightseeing or simply relaxing, life here is taken at a leisurely pace. Both Toulouse and Rodez airports are both an hour and a half drive, enabling guests to take advantage of low cost airlines. Laguepie is about 12 hours drive from the Normandy ports.
The house is centrally heated making it suitable for out of season breaks, and has been tastefully modernised, blending antique furniture and original features with modern comfort. Our 2 spacious double rooms - each with an ensuite shower room - have seating areas overlooking the chateau. We also have a suite consisting of 2 large rooms (one double, one twin bedded) and a separate shower room. This suite is situated on it’s own floor and is suitable for a family or friends travelling together (rooms can be rented separately). All rooms have free tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers. All bedrooms are non-smoking.
Breakfast may be taken in the bright dining room, or on the balcony or shady terrace and guests are welcome to share our comfortable lounge. Evening meals, light suppers or lunches are available on request. A fridge is provided for guests who may wish to purchase their own picnic food - and picnics may be eaten on the terrace or in the garden if desired.
Private parking is available in the grounds and the village is served by the Paris to Toulouse railway line, making a break without a car possible.
Please note that due to a large number of steps the property is unsuitable for guests with walking difficulties.
