| Wicker Park’s architecture is late nineteenth century, with rehabbing and new development occurring everywhere. In recent years, the area has become one of the city’s hottest real estate markets. Together, the sister neighborhoods of Wicker Park and Bucktown feature some of Chicago's finest restaurants, clubs, bars, coffeeshops and unusual artisan-owned galleries and boutiques. And Bon App?tit magazine (September 2002) judged Wicker Park to be one of the country's best neighborhoods for dining.
Conveniently located on the Chicago Transit Authority's (CTA) Blue Line, a stay in Wicker Park does not require the rental of a car. Blue Line elevated / subway trains running from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport to the Loop, pass through the center of the Wicker Park neighborhood. In fact, Wicker Park is an ideal base for exploring all of Chicago's sights. All major attractions are only a short train, bus, or taxi ride away. |

Directly across from the B&B, our Bucktown Apartment has 3 separate bedrooms (queen, full, & 2 twin beds), full kitchen, dining room, and private bathroom. Breakfast is not provided as the kitchen is stocked with breakfast goodies that guests can prepare at their leisure. The Cape Cod Room, so named for its ocean blue hues and the seaside images of its art, has a queen-sized bed and in-suite marble bath with shower. This room of our Chicago bed & breakfast has a lovely view of a quiet, tree-lined street. There is a desk for conducting business or planning your activities and a comfortable seating area. Directions

| From O'Hare Airport: At O'Hare Airport, follow the signs that read "Trains to the City" located just outside of Terminal 2. You will need to purchase a fare card from one of the several machines before entering the turnstyles. You can purchase a single fare for $2. Take any train leaving the O'Hare station and continue to the Damen station (about 35 minutes.) When you leave the train, walk down the stairs, turn left and continue to Milwaukee Avenue, and then turn right. Continue down Milwaukee to Wolcott Avenue (by the Walgreens Pharmacy) and turn right onto Wolcott. The first street on your left is Wicker Park Avenue, and the Inn is located just a few houses down on the left. |
