Things To Do

| Amanzi Lodge has a swimming pool, bicycles and canoes for the guests to explore the island and the lagoon.
Knysna is centrally situated in the Garden Route, and as such Amanzi Lodge is the perfect place to base yourself for a few days as you explore the many activities in the area:
GOLF - Pezula and Knysna and Simola Golf Courses are all within 15 minutes drive from the Lodge. SAILING and FERRY TRIPS and WHALE WATCHING: Head out to sea with Spring Tide Yacht Charters or contact Featherbed Ferries for a lazy trip around the lagoon. Ocean Safaris offer dolphin and whale watching. NATURE RESERVES and FOREST: Featherbed Nature Reserve (seen from the Lodge), the Knysna Forest, Robberg Nature Reserve and the Tsitsikamma forest are all within an hour from the lodge and are must dos!
WILDLIFE SANTUARIES: (All within 40 min drive from Amanzi) Knysna Elephant Park, Monkeyland and Birds of Eden are brilliant fun for the whole family. ADRENALIN SPORTS: Scuba diving, abseiling, quad biking, canoeing, paragliding and of course; the World's Highest Bungy Jump are all within 40 minutes drive from the Lodge. |

Our Superior rooms are the best rooms with the best views in the house! Each spacious room has its own magic and offers guests spectacular views of the lagoon and the Knysna Heads. The rooms open out either onto a private balcony or onto a deck in the front garden. The beds in the Superior rooms are luxurious extra long King beds, and the bathrooms have a bath, double shower and double basins. Special touches make for additional pampering. Air-conditioned.

A very sunny and spacious upstairs room on the West side of the lodge that opens out onto a balcony and looks down the side of the lodge towards the lagoon. The beds can be made up as King or Twins with an optional extra bed for a third person. The en-suite bathroom has a bath, shower and double basins and looks into the boughs of a Milkwood tree. Air-conditioned.

| Coming from CAPE TOWN on the N2:
Drive though Knysna Town, passed the hospital, until you come to a Quick Spar and Caltex garage on your right. Take the next road right onto George Rex Drive. Follow the signs to Leisure Isle. Turn right onto the causeway onto Leisure Isle. Once on the Island take the first left (Woodbourne Drive). This road becomes Cearn drive. Amanzi Lodge is number 31.
Coming From PLETTENBERG BAY on the N2:
