| The Turret bed and breakfast, featured in the July 2007 NZ House and Garden, is set in an award-winning landscaped garden at Lake Hayes. Situated between Arrowtown and Queenstown with panoramic views across the lake to Coronet Peak. This distinctive 4 star qualmark rated lakeside retreat near Queenstown offers luxury accommodation, featuring warm hospitality, stunning lake and mountain views and all the comforts you come to expect to make your New Zealand stay a memorable one. Accommodation is comprised of three guestrooms all with their own private bathroom. Two of the guest rooms have french doors opening out to the terrace, with the third, The Turret Suite, having its own balcony. All rooms have fabulous views, tea and coffee making facilities, a minibar, broadband internet service and quality beds and linens. An open wood burning fire warms the guest lounge and breakfast is served in the guest dining room, which features stunning lake views.
If you are passionate about skiing, The Turret is the place to stay. You only have to look out of your window to get a breathtaking view of Queenstown's premier ski location, Coronet Peak. Remarkables Ski Field and Cadrona are also a short scenic drive from The Turret.
If the combination of driving and skiing does not appeal to you, how about heliskiing! Let yourself be taken on a short 5 minute drive to catch your helicopter for an unforgettable day of glacier skiing.

Things To Do

| Queenstown is the adventure capital of the world and the Turret is just a short drive to all of these activities. In addition, there are several ski fields located nearby. If you don't want to go out, you can just stay at the Turret and relax by our wood burning fire or you can make use of our croquet set, kayaks, mountain bikes, sailboat and other outdoor activites on site or just a take a stroll along the path around Lake Hayes. |

Directions

| The Turret is located across from Lake Hayes, on the main road between Queenstown and Arrowtown (712 Lake Hayes Arrow-Junction Highway or State Highway 6).
From Cromwell take State Highway 6 towards Queenstown. Approximately 500 meters past the Arrowtown-Lake Hayes Road turn off, you will see a blue B&B sign on your right and the Turret sign on your left.
Traveling from Queenstown take State Highway 6A to Frankton, continue on State highway 6 to The Turret. Coming from Queenstown, there will be a blue B&B sign on your left and the Turret will be on your right. |
