With a friendly atmosphere and ten individually designed bedrooms, The Cavalaire is one of Brighton’s most comfortable and characterful places to stay. Our guest house, built in 1888, is set in a terrace of classic Victorian town houses.
Recently refurbished and redecorated in ‘boutique hotel’ style, our new contemporary interior blends beautifully with the elegance and charm of the original architecture. We are delighted to provide bed and breakfast to guests on business trips, short breaks and longer stays, offering accommodation in a choice of en suite rooms sleeping one, two or three.
Our most luxurious room, perfect for a special occasion, has a gorgeous four poster bed. Directions

| By car. From the M25/M23/A23, follow the signs for Brighton City Centre all the way to the seafront. At the roundabout near the pier, turn left onto Marine Parade. At the first traffic lights, turn left into Lower Rock Gardens and continue straight on at the next traffic lights into Upper Rock Gardens. We are at number 34 on the right hand side.
By train. The Cavalaire is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk from Brighton station, or an easy 5-10 minute ride by taxi, which are readily available from the rank at the station.
By coach The Cavalaire is a half-mile walk or taxi ride from the main coach station near the pier.
By air. Brighton is just 20 minutes by car from Gatwick Airport which is also well served by excellent rail and coach links. From Heathrow, there’s a frequent coach service via Gatwick and a tube and train service via London.
