| Hike Acadia National Park, either on Mt. Desert (about 50 minutes away) or Schoodic Point (only 6 miles). Other wildlife areas nearby include the Petite Manan national Wildlife Refuge, Schoodic and Black Mtns. Schoodic Arts Festival in July and the Winter Harbor Lobster Festival the sec. Sat. in August. Brows area art galleries and antique stores. Paint, photograph, kayak, bike. |

Directions

| From Boston: North on Route 95 to Bangor; take Toute 395 to route 1A East;
in Ellsworth, turn left onto Route 1; from Route 1 in the Town of Gouldsboro,
turn right onto Route 195. Stay on Route 195, following the signs to Corea;
just after entering the Village of Corea, turn left onto Crowley Island Road.
We are 1/10th of a mile on your left - look for our sign. (For a more scenic route,
you may pick up Coastal Route 1 at Brunswick, ME to Ellsworth or take Route 3 from
Augusta to Belfast, and then Route 1.)
From Canada: South on Route 95 to Route 395 in Bangor, then follow the above directions;
or South on Route 1, until route 186 in Gouldsboro, turn left onto Route 186, until you reach
Route 195, turn left and follow the above directions.
