Kath & Chris welcome you to our comfortable, friendly guest house situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Cark in Cartmel in the South Lakes Peninsula.

The house offers first class accommodation in an unspoilt rural location surrounded by some of the areas most popular attractions. Within easy walking distance is the beautiful Holker Hall, a 16th Century stately home.

Lake Windermere is within half an hours car ride. For our younger guests the South Lakes Wild Animal Park is also a short car journey away. There are a number of walks in the local area with great views out over Morecambe Bay and across the Lakeland hills.

Eeabank Lodge was formerly an old coaching house, and until 1912 was known as “The Railway Hotel” A period residence of great charm and character, built circa 1760. The name of the house is taken from the River Eea which runs through the village.

Some of the local attractions:- Cartmel is about a mile away with its steeple chase horse race meetings, and historic Priory It is also famous for its Sticky Toffee Puddings, (not to be missed). Cark airfield is about a mile away where the Parachute centre is situated. They also hold giant car boot fairs there.
