Wollumbin Palms Retreat is a luxury 5 star couples romantic eco rainforest retreat at the base of magical Mt Warning in Northern New South Wales.

Spread over 80 acres of pristine rainforest at the base of World Heritage-listed National Park Mt Warning, the retreat comprises just 3 luxurious lodges each with their own character and each offering absolute privacy, perfect for that romantic break away or honeymoon.

RAINFOREST YURT: Sir Joseph Banks Lodge is a 12 sided yurt style lodge nestled high in the rainforest and is reached by its own 16m footbridge. It has been fashioned from 8 different native timbers and is simply gorgeous with many luxurious extras. The spa is situated on the balcony looking straight into the forest and there is an optional outdoor hot shower in the trees.

BALINESE TEMPLE: Kings Lodge is created around a 300 yr old Javanese Prayer Room from a Kings Palace in Java, complete with hand carved, vaulted teak ceilings, carved doors, breezeway with spa, opium daybed and koi pond over looking a beautiful lake and pergola, suspended king sized bed, hand painted wallpaper - there are lots of special wonders in this lodge.

HOBBIT STYLE LODGE: Altwood Lodge is crafted in rock, stone and timber with full glass front and rear walls affording incredible views to Mt Warning. A beautiful private courtyard at the rear, with its own outdoor shower and grotto for the spa. Again carvings and wonders to marvel at.

All lodges feature outside double spas with fantastic views, double showers inside and outside, kitchen and BBQ facilities, espresso coffee machines & selection of teas, TV/DVD/CD/Austar, soft bath robes, afternoon tea on arrival and complimentary continental and cooked breakfast hampers, and wonderful small details to make your stay perfect. All have their own driveways and carports.

We can cook you a wonderful evening meal, or arrange a relaxing massage, horseriding or canoeing, or we can leave you alone to just be at peace in the forest.

Many lovely cafes, restaurants and galleries are nearby. Or you could climb Mt Warning, brevit around the local markets, drive to the coast which is very close by, or sit in the spa with a glass of champagne. Enjoy a fabulous pamper treatment in your lodge (massages & spa treatments), or we can arrange horseriding and canoeing in the hills for you.
