Things To Do

Lake Taupo is situated in the scenic centre of the North Island and is perfect as a base for visiting many other tourist areas, such as Rotorua, Waitomo, and Tongariro National Park - all less than two hours drive away. Just minutes away from "Lochinver" are golf courses, helicopter flights, tandem skydiving, helicopter flights, the awesome Huka Falls, and the thermal areas of "Craters of the Moon" and "Wai-o-Tapu". Taupo has many fine restaurants, and good shopping.

Directions

On reaching Taupo from the North, continue along Lake Terrace with the lake on your right. At the fire station turn left into Rifle Range Road. Tamatea Road is the 9th street on the right and we are number 33.
